About Bison Hitting Academy

WE BELIEVE THERE'S A BETTER WAY TO BUILD YOUTH ATHLETES.
Too many young athletes are overwhelmed by pressure, controlled by fear or failure, and constantly comparing themselves to everyone around them. The game that's supposed to build confidence is slowly tearing it down.
At Bison Hitting Academy, we believe great hitters are built through more than mechanics alone. That's why we intentionally combine fundamental hitting instruction with faith, confidence-building, and mindset training to help athletes grow from the inside out.
The bison is a symbol of this academy because it's the only animal that doesn't seek shelter or run away from a storm - it turns and faces it. That mindset is at the core of everything we teach - helping young athletes compete with confidence and understand their identity is found in who God created them to be, not on a scoreboard.
Meet Coach Braylon
MORE THAN GOOD SWING MECHANICS
My name is Braylon, and baseball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my best memories, biggest frustrations, and most important lessons came through this game. I've also felt how the pressure, comparison, and failure can steal your confidence.
That's why I started Bison Hitting Academy. My goal is to create the kind of environment many baseball players wish they had growing up - one built on encouragement, strong fundamentals, mental resilience, and a Christ-centered foundation that reminds athletes their identity is bigger than the game.

"My favorite thing about Coach Braylon is that he focuses on confidence, character, and faith just as much as he focuses on hitting technique."
Father of 8U player
“Braylon helped our son create a consistent approach to batting. After just a couple of lessons, our son's routine was the same every at-bat.”
Father of 8U player
"We saw noticeable growth in our son's confidence, and he couldn't wait to go back for more lessons."
